About Us
We Are Elin & Sofie – Sisters Who Understands This Journey
Our Story
We are sisters, mothers and founders of ReEmpowering Programs.
Elin is a mother of two neurodivergent children and brings both lived experience and professional insight from supporting children and families through school reintegration. She deeply understands the struggles that many families experience when the school systems fails to meet a child’s needs.
Sofie is a mother in a blended family of seven and brings experience from working with change processes within IT and organisational culture. Through her work, she has developed a deep understanding of how behaviour, systems, and everyday realities influence the ability to create sustainable change — particularly in complex and emotionally demanding situations.
Together, we bring:
Lived experience as parents to neurodivergent children
Professional insight into school reintegration and change
10+ years of experience supporting families
- A deep commitment to helping parents feel empowered, not overwhelmed
Why This Matters To Us
We ReEmpower parents with evidence-based tools and compassionate support to help their children overcome school stress — starting with parent regulation first.
This is not a failure of the child or the family. It is a system that has not yet adapted to the diversity of children it is meant to serve.
Every child deserves access to education — in a way that meets their needs. And no family should have to fight alone for that right.
Our Mission
ReEmpower Parents
To strengthen parents with confidence and support — so they feel capable of guiding their child.
Encourage Change
We promote change through understanding, reflection, and motivation.
Education As A Right
We stand for every child’s right to attend school and receive an education.
Offer Practical Tools
We provide clear, evidence based tools and guidance that parents can apply in real life.
Why we createdThe Program
We created ReEmpowering Programs in response to the growing number of children worldwide who are unable to attend school and are left without adequate support.
We are deeply frustrated by how difficult it is to create real change within school systems. While we cannot change the system overnight, we can do something meaningful here and now.
This program exists to support parents with practical tools and guidance, helping them navigate school absence and do what is best for their child in their unique situation.
This is not about fixing children. It is about helping families cope, adapt, and move forward when the school system fails.
We don’t want to wait for change.
We want to be part of it.
How We Are Different
We Start With You, Not Your Child
Because regulation flows from parent to child —not the other way around.
Evidence-Based + Heart-Led
Professional methods grounded in real family experience.
Practical, Not Theoretical
Tools you can use immediately, even on overwhelming days.
